Things to Do in Hua Hin

As one of Thailand's favorite vacation destinations, there is lots to do in Hua Hin:

Thailand's Royal Resort

SeaRidge is located in the delightful Royal Resort of Hua Hin, just a 2½ hour drive from Bangkok, but a world away.

With its uncrowded beaches, and refreshing sea breezes, Hua Hin combines the beauty of ancient Thai traditions with a relaxed, modern, international lifestyle.

Temples & Palaces

Khao Tao - From SeaRidge, you can see the Golden Buddha clinging to the hill at Khao Tao. There are a number of temples around the Buddha.

Khao Takiap - About 8 km north of SeaRidge, hillside temples, statues and excellent views of Hua Hin and the sea.

Klai Kangwon Palace - Just north of the town center, built in the 1920s, the current monarch, King Rama IX, spends much of the year here. The park around the palace is open to the public.

Maruekhathaiyawan Palace - About 15 km north of the town center, built in the early 1920s during the reign of King Rama VI.

Parks

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park - Located about 50 km south of SeaRidge, the name means "300 peaks". You can hike and explore the caves in the park or take a boat cruise along the Khao Daeng Canal. There are also many excellent beaches in and around the park.

Kaeng Krachan National Park - Thailand's largest national park, located 60 km west of Hua Hin. The park boasts abundant wildlife (tigers, bears, gibbons, elephants) and an 11 tiered Pala-u waterfall.
